How to access the secure Web Portal

 

Georgia Medicaid members registered with the secure Web Portal are able to logon and access additional secure menu items. This enables registered users the opportunity to view their claims, eligibility, prior authorization requests, and referrals or request a new Georgia Medicaid card.

 

New to this site?

Members who have not yet created their login should visit the Register for Secure Access page under the Member Information menu.

 

Member Login

Members who have created their login can press the Login button above on the User Information panel to login with their Medicaid ID and password.

Applying for Medicaid/PeachCare for Kids®

     

  • For information about applying for Medicaid, please vist the Georgia Department of Community Health web site.
  •  

  • Contact the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) offices in your county, and the office will take your application or help you find other places to apply, such as schools, hospitals or community centers near your home.
  •  

  • The Right from the Start Medicaid (RSM) outreach project has workers available to take applications early in the morning, in the evenings, and on weekends. For more information, call (800) 809-7276.
  •  

  • If you think you are pregnant, contact your county health department, primary health care center or hospital. Call the Georgia Division of Public Health at (404) 657-2700 to find out where to apply in your county. If you are pregnant and eligible, you can get a Medicaid certification form on the same day that you apply. You can get prenatal care for yourself and your baby immediately.
  •  

  • If you are aged (65 years or older), blind or disabled, apply for the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program by contacting your local Social Security office. If you are approved for SSI, you will automatically receive Medicaid. Call (800) 772-1213 to find the closest Social Security office.
  •  

  • If you have uninsured children under the age of 19, you may apply for PeachCare for Kids. Call (877) 427-3227 or (877) GA-PEACH or visit www.peachcare.org to begin the application process.
